Vintage Military Aircraft Safety Wire Pliers 9" Tool Development Co Hollywood CA

Hello! This auction is for a vintage pair of 9 inch safety wire pliers made by New Tool Development Co of North Hollywood California. Interesting design that may have been prototype as pliers appear to have had a Utica stamp and aluminum slide lock and twist knob appear to have been manually turned. A little too nice to have been home built, but without the finish of an established production line. Bought with others tools from an estate lot that dated from early 1940's and had connections to Wright Field. An interesting quality tool that may be a rare piece.
