Ferrex FAM20-1 Cordless Multi-Tool 20-40V Bare Unit for spares/repair

FERREX FAM20-1 CORDLESS MULTI-TOOL  BARE UNIT FOR SPARES/REPAIR ACTIV ENERGY Battery SYSTEM 20 - 40V I have for sale a FERREX FAM20-1 Multi-tool. This is sold for spares/repair. This was only used for a couple of jobs but the battery failed and since the unit does not power on even with a new battery.  This is in otherwise in good clean condition and still has several of the original accessories included, packed in the original factory box with instructions.  I had this tested and the verdict was the motor is fine but the internal electronics have an unknown fault - something that could likely be fixed or replaced  - or used for parts to fix another one. This came new in late 2019 so in theory is even still under the 3yr warranty - however I  just replaced it as I didnt want to wait No battery or charger are included - these are sold seperately anyway.  The unit uses the standard Ferrex/Aldi Lithium ACTIVEnergy 20 or 40V  batteries widely available online or in Aldi stores.
